For the 3rd annual Larry’s Charity Paddle Battle Pickleball Tournament we are running back to the 70s with a Yacht Rock Themed Team event. Larry VanderBaaren was a huge yacht rock lover. His kids will share stories of being woken up on Saturday mornings by Steely Dan or Christopher Cross blasting in the house while he did his Saturday morning chores.
Sign up as an individual and you will be drafted to one of the teams to play in any of the following events: Gender doubles (2 levels), Mixed doubles (2 levels) and singles. We end it off with a fun team rally game. Actual events will depend on event sign ups. The Yacht Rock Captain of each team will determine who plays in each event.
It’s sure to be a super fun throwback event. Yacht rock attire encouraged. Yacht rock DJ spinning 70s classics, cash bar and pizza party dinner are all part of the experience.
Pull out your best Burt Reynolds inspired look, maybe a captain hat or vacation shirt and join us for this day you will not want to miss!
