The Brockville and Area Community Foundation is proud to announce the launch of The Children's Mental Health Fund, generously established by Jamie Puddicombe and Hilary Maxwell. This fund will provide support to Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville on an annual basis, helping to support the mental health of children and families in our region

The Brockville Healthy Families Fund was established by our Executive Director, Stephanie Steed, and her family. The goal of this fund is to provide financial support to local organizations focused on supporting families in the areas of: health, mental health, food security, safe shelter, transportation to safe shelter, basic needs and education.

We are thrilled to announce that The Brockville and Area Community Foundation will be participating in the The Community Services Recovery Fund program this year. This is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits across Canada as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery. The Larry VanderBaaren Memorial Fund is a fund held at the Brockville and Area Community Foundation and is in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Leeds and Grenville. Following the passing of Larry in November of 2021, his wife, Nancy, and children, Alissa, Luke and Laura have established this memorial fund so he can continue to make an impact in the community.

The Don & Virginia Glover Endowment Fund exists to support "arts and culture, community development, education, environment, health, heritage preservation, recreation, social services, and youth." as determined by the BACF Board of Directors. Read on to learn more about the late Don Glover.

Over the past few years, in particular with the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic and all of the attendant impacts, organizations within our area have been focused on supporting populations in our area who are vulnerable to these impacts. Read on to hear how we have helped.

The Brockville and Area Community Foundation awarded a total of $18,550 in grants and scholarships on June 5, 2019 to worthy charitable organizations in Brockville and surrounding area.

The successful applications to the Brockville and Area Community Foundation (BACF) were revealed on Tuesday, May 9 in the Brockville Arts Centre gallery/lobby by Executive Director Joyce Ferguson.
